Despite several meetings the Police Union has made with Interior Minister Jelal Svecla, the decision on their 14 demands is still not made.
In a proposal for Periscope, the top unionist, Imer Zeqiri, has said they are pending implementation of the Constitutional Court's Action, and the return of additional risks as it has been.
“Since December of last year we have been in contact and we have held two meetings with MPB Minister Mr. Jedal Svecla regarding the demands of the Police Union. Investments have been made in infrastructure, both in equipment and in several police facilities during the meeting. We have also been notified that it is working for the Law on Health Insurance, as well as on the retirement Law. We are also in expectation of implementing the Constitutional Court Act, which has estimated that there can be no pay discount where there was, and the reduction of the work experience from 0.5 to 0.55 will be restored, as well as the additions for risklessness as it has been, because the Constitutional Act says one right that has been acquired should not be taken by anyone”, he said.
The Zeqiri was also asked whether they will take union action, he says they will constantly seek the realisation of their demands.
Our union actions will be continuous until the requirements are realised, as they would require membership”, he has said of Periscope.
