Gjakova police seized 70 motorcycles for three days, due to traffic violations

Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova, Regional Road Communications Unit is continuing with police activities aimed at reducing accidents in general, as well as increasing security for all participants in road traffic.

As a result of this commitment, from the date 03,05,2024 to the date of 05.05.2024, the large number of counterinvasions caused by motorcycle leaders have been undertaken, preventable and punitive measures against them with chips seized seventy (70) by motorcycles for various counter-intractions such as speed, failure to set up protective helmets, without registration and customs.

In addition to punishative measures against bikers, during these three (3) days more than four hundred and two (402) fines for other countervanes for: speeding, overcoming in forbidden places, using telephones during driving, not setting up seat belts and other countertakes, and having been confiscated 11 driver's license.

The Regional Road Communications Unit in Gjakova will continue with the taking of various preventative and punitive measures, always with the aim of building road safety and preventing accidents, especially those with serious consequences.
