Gjakova, a person severely injured by an explosive device

A man has remained injured in the village of Babay Boca of Gjakova, who allegedly came in contact with an explosive tool.

The case has been confirmed by police spokesman for the Gjakova region, Sheremet Elesaj.

He said the victim is being addressed in emergency, while the necessary investigative actions are under way.

“Around 11:15 we have reportedly been reported that the male adult victim had suffered serious bodily injuries (is suspected of contact by explosive vehicle) in an open field in the village of Babay Boces-Gjakov. The necessary police units have responded to the case and the victim has been sent with an emergency for medical treatment. Currently, the necessary investigative actions” are under way, Elesaj said.
