Also, Kosovo's top diplomat has said that O'Brien has talked about preserving peace and stability in Kosovo and the region and resisting security threats.
“Under the official visit to the United States, I was received at a meeting by Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien. In the spirit of special relations between the two states during the meeting, numerous aspects of deepening bilateral co-operation have been addressed, strengthening the rule of law and democracy, and living aspirations for the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in international organisations. We also discussed other current developments in the country, emphasising on the dedication of institutions in maintaining peace and stability in the country and the region, as well as curbing security threats”, Gervala wrote. /Express/
