Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has said Germany has never questioned the legitimacy of the BEC regulation, but according to him its implementation was uncoordinated.
He at “Debat Plus” said Germany's advice is being ignored and that this does not create a good atmosphere.
We give advice if our advice is always ignored that does not create a good atmosphere, for example, if we ask the dinar question. Kosovo is an independent state, Germany and the QUINT states have consistently stressed the legitimacy of Kosovo having a single currency. The only thing that we have constantly questioned and criticised is the way of implementation. This is a question of dialogue, we have Lajcak, you have to discuss it there and not have uncoordinated activities. Any activity that is uncoordinated leads to consequences and complicates the political atmosphere. The legalisation of the CEC decision is not in question, we only criticise the manner of implementation, which has been uncoordinated”, he said.
