For the last time, Ukshin Hoti had been arrested in 1994 by Serbian police on charges of exercising hostile activity against Yugoslavia and his participation in the movement for the Republic of Kosovo, with whom he was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
On May 16, 1999, after the release and after leaving Dubrava prison cell, it disappeared from Serb police without leaving any trace.
