During the May 20th action, Kosovo police said they closed six facilities of the Kurssimor Post Ban, as according to her, they acted illegally in the country's north.
Serbia's prime minister, Milos Vuchev, described the action as the barbarous “akt, directly threatening the survival of the Serbian people” in Kosovo.
WHICH “Whom and why are you holding back the Savings Post Bank? Because of the check. Serbs in Kosovo are the only community in Europe that cannot operate normally. Do they have the right to have salaries and pensions? Or nothing is allowed to”, Vuchev said, according to a Serbian Government report.
In the report, it was said these questions were not addressed to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but to the international community.
Meanwhile, Serbia's Interior Minister, Ivica Dacic, said in his response to this action, Prime Minister Kurti continues <x0m-terror against the Serbian people” in Kosovo, performing “bassis at the branches of the Post Saving Bank”.
He added that “this leads to new conflicts in the Balkans, with incalculable consequences”.
The 20 May action also reacted to the Office for Kosovo in the Serbian Government. This office claimed that during the action, Kosovo Police have “mishandled” employees of Serbian institutions.
The fact that EULEX and KFOR members were silent observers of today's illegal and violent action in northern Kosovo is disturbing. We call on international representatives to urgently stop Kurti and protect the Serb peace and people in Kosovo”, it said in response.
