The Department for Investigation of Illegal Tribes, in co-operation with the Department of Special Operations in DVP Tirana, under a criminal prosecution followed by special methods of investigation, in running the Prosecution of the First Court of General Jurydiction Tirana, as well as in the implementation of operational plan “Rule of law” finalised the operation coded “Transporter 2”.
During the operation, at the parking lot of a bus terminal, in Lunder, citizens were captured and arrested in the flagging: B. K., 28, B. S., 20, E.T., 25, and M. K., 20, all residents in Kosovo.
Part of the police operation was also a civil official who is seen as professionally reacting to place suspects in handcuffs.
Citizens B. K. He was allegedly on the bus with executive citizen E. Th., a bag within which 10 firearms were found, 10 combs and quantities of militant ammunition. Then, citizen B. K., in collaboration with citizen M. K., they've been tracking their vehicle, their bus, the entire route.
From the verifications conducted has resulted that firearms were trafficked to Tirana, with the aim of selling to 1,500,000 euros. But the alleged verification of bus line owner, citizen E. Th., along with other citizens, has trafficked firearms towards Albania, in some cases.
In the quality of the material trial, 10 pistols, with combs and ammunition, 1 vehicle and 5 mobile phones were seized. The materials were passed on to the Prosecutor.
