Well-informed sources within this process have told him Dukagini TV says that despite the fact that no decision was made today, there is still danger of delay.
At the time the pressure to send the draft association to the Constitution has been increased, sources say the procedures allow that whenever member states want by the beginning of next week, it could be decided for or Kosovo to leave the agenda.
The prime minister is insisting that membership in the Council of Europe is not mixed with normalising relations with Serbia, but Kosovo's friendly countries are thinking differently.
Germany has a common stance with the QUINT when it says that Kosovo is expected to take tangible steps to establish the association of Serb majority municipalities.
In response to TV, Dukagjin, the German Embassy says that in this way two-thirds of the votes will be provided on the Committee of Ministers, which is the last step for membership in the Council of Europe.
In German opinion, the initial step the Government would have to take is the surrender of a draft association to the Constitutional Court.
In our opinion, such a step would be to hand over the draftt to the Constitutional Court. As Ambassador Rohde said in his tweet post following the vote at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe: Kosovo must now do its hard work. That has not yet happened... ... it is up to Prime Minister Kurti and his government to convince the necessary number of states by other means, so by taking further concrete steps towards creating the ESM (assocation), which Kosovo has vowed to establish and therefore is international task”, it is said in response.
To RTV Duagjini also spoke from the British Embassy, but they have been reserved, not mentioning the issue of association at all.
The United Kingdom supports Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe and is encouraging Kosovo to do everything it can to ensure the necessary support for a successful vote on the Committee of Ministers”.
Meanwhile, France stands in line with Germany in terms of tasks Kosovo must perform. In a response sent to the media, the French Embassy in Kosovo has said sending the draft association to the Constitutional Constitutional constitution would be a welcome step to ensure support for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
The vote on the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers is the last step of Kosovo's eventual membership in the organisation. This committee meets in mid - May.
