The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe has held the session in which the six-month Kosovo report has been discussed.
There the ambassador, Neil Holland, has expressed concern over the lack of progress in normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia. In his speech, he has stressed that this continues to have negative implications for the stability of the Western Balkans.
Until the United Kingdom welcomed progress by power guides and car signs in December, many fundamental issues remain unresolved. We encourage both sides to engage constructively in the dialogue mediated by the European Union and to work on respective obligations, including the establishment of the Serbian Majority Commission Association”, Ambassador Neil Holland has said, broadcasting KlanKosovo.tv.
He has continued to call for Pristina and Belgrade to find solutions through the European envoy regarding the Kosovo Central Bank regulation.
He also mentions recent voting in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
“The last vote vote for the withdrawal of mayors in the four northern municipalities is a step away from ensuring democracy that the local population deserves, and we encourage Kosovo Serbs to return to institutions and serve their communities”.
Great Britain has also called on Serbia to co-operate in keeping responsible for those who carried out the aggression attack in Zvecan Banjska on 24 September 2023.
