But a key sticking point seems to still remain if the deal would end Israel's offensive as Hamas has demanded.
Blinken met with Israeli leaders throughout the day at the last stop of his seventh visit to the region since the outbreak of war in October, trying to postpone what has been an elusive agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The United States and other middlemen Egypt and Qatar hope to avoid an Israeli offensive in the southern town of Gaza, Rafah, where some 1.4 million Palestinians have been sheltered, reports the Associated Press, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
