Germany will support Kosovo with 90m euros, with the goal of integrating Kosovo into the EU, German Ambassador Jorn Rohde has announced.

In a German Embassy report, this new deal reportedly marks a significant increase in the value of support compared to the previous 2022/2023 period, which was estimated at 37m euros, thus showing a deepening of co-operation between the two countries.
“These funds will be used to support Kosovo's integration into the European Union and will focus, among other things, on investments in the energy sector, in particular in the process of designing, ensuring sustainable economic development, providing training and employment, and supporting municipalities, especially in waste management and conservation of the” environment, the report says.
Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Hekuran Murati has stressed close co-operation with the German government, citing some important projects that have been implemented under this co-operation, such as the project for the construction of solar heat and sewage rehabilitation in Pristina, waste management across Kosovo, as well as the establishment of the Macedonia and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren.
