25 Years From the May 22 massacre in Vushtrri

In addition to villages, Serbian soldiers and police officers during the war in Kosovo have slaughtered many civil Albanians even in cities.

One of these massacres is the one committed in Vushtrri on May 22, 1999.

During this day, the citizens of Vushtrri have experienced severe horrors from Slobodan Milosevic's murderous machine and Arkan units. On this day, most citizens have been forcibly evacuated from their homes and forced to gather at the well - known “cemetery” in the town of Vushtrri.

Families on the former <x0 street... May”, have left their homes. However, a group of 68 Albanians have been forced to stop at Kahriman Pasoma's home. However, others in this neighborhood have been forced to go to the place called “at” cemetery in Vushtrri.

During this time they have been robbed and taken in valuable money, such as gold and so on. <x) Women with children up to 15 years of age, young and middle age, and the elderly.

Some of those assembled, about 1,000, were sent to the sports room, where they were tortured in various forms, and then sent to the Smrekonica prison (the northern villages of Vushtrri) and others to Albania.

Of all this painful mess, the worst and worst have suffered the 68 Albanians who had remained in Kahriman Pasoma's house. Albanian hostages have been tortured in inhumane forms, then all have been executed, mostly with a bullet in the head. Among those executed were women and children aged 15 and old and old.

After the execution, corpses have been transported in a truck and sent to Serbia, respectively, in order to lose traces of crime.

Witnesses who have gone to the house where the crime has been committed are understood to have fled after Serb invading forces and the remains of Albanian executions show that there were many traces of blood on walls, on floors, and other sites of the crime house.

After the 1999 war, until 2015 respectively, the remains of 67 Albanians killed on May 22, 1999, and there is one left, Beauty Shkreli, who did not find their bones.
