Over 1.8 million people are on the electoral list eligible for parliamentary elections in northern Macedonia. This number is up to 1033 higher than those on the election list for presidential elections. Citizens inside the country will be able to vote in 3480 seats.
Citizens who want to vote for president must be presented at the polling site with valid identification documents or expired identification documents from July 24th 2023 and later. And citizens who want to vote for parliamentary elections must have valid or expired documents no sooner than August 8th 2023. In addition to personal identification, citizens must pass double identification filter with biometric fingerprints. If the voter appears at the polls and receives only one of the ballots by refusing to vote in both elections, he will not have the right to return later to vote again for the elections he has earlier refused.
The State Election Commission recalled that valid ballot will only be the one in which the editorial number of candidates for which the selection is set and the ballot is folded before it is placed in the box. The vote must be hidden.
