Zvecan Mayor Ilir Peci believes that as things stand for now, he and the three mayors of municipalities -- Northern Mitrovica, Zubin Potok and Leposavic -- will continue to stay in office.
“According to our predictions, we think the referendum will not pass, however it is expected to be seen Sunday evening, because everything is possible”, Peci for Klan Kosova.tv has responded.
Peci has said this based on Serbian List calls for Serbian citizens not to appear at the April 21st polls.
“I don't think Serbian citizens will go to the polls because as we have seen in the media, they have boycotted the elections and pulled their members out of the CEC”.
“If Serbian citizens will respond to the call of the Serbian List to boycott the elections, then I think that the Serbian List still has influence in the north”.
