Mohammad Jamsidi, deputy head of the Iranian president's office, said 5 April that Iran had told Washington in a written message “to stay away from” Israel, or risk to “lain”.
In her response, the U.S. asked Iran not to attack American objects”, Jamsidi wrote on the social X network.
Asked by Radio Free Europe about Jamsid's comments, a spokesman for the US State Department (DASH) dismissed his claims.
We didn't call. We responded by warning Iran not to use this as an excuse to attack American objects and personnel”, the UN spokesman said.
