US: We did not ask, but warned Iran against attacking our troops in the region

The United States of America has warned Iran today not to attack American troops and bases in the Middle East, as Tehran is planning to respond to an alleged Israeli attack by which seven Iranian military officers were killed on April 1st. Mohammad Jamsidi, deputy head of the Iranian president's office, said 5 April that Iran had told Washington in a written message “to stay away from” Israel, or risk to “lain”.
In her response, the U.S. asked Iran not to attack American objects”, Jamsidi wrote on the social X network.
Asked by Radio Free Europe about Jamsid's comments, a spokesman for the US State Department (DASH) dismissed his claims.
We didn't call. We responded by warning Iran not to use this as an excuse to attack American objects and personnel”, the UN spokesman said.
