Press spokesman for national security at the White House, John Kirby, has declared that the US are by no means involved in Israel's decision to respond strongly to Iran, following his attack on over 300 fears and rockets towards Israel.
The Israeli government will make its decision if and how to respond to”, Kirby said during a media conference.
In a report without a source, Israel's 12th Canal claims that the war cabinet has made the decision to hit “sharply and by force” against Iran for its missile attack and fear Saturday evening.
The answer will be designed to send the message that Israel “will not allow an attack of those dimensions against it to pass without a response”, the report says.
The answer will also be designed to make clear that Israel will not allow the Iranians of “to establish the equation” they have sought to claim the last days. This appears to be a reference to Iran's warning that future Israeli attacks on Iranian territory, including its international diplomatic facilities, will now again face Iranian revenge attacks on Israel.
The report says Israel does not want its response to spark a regional war, or destroy the coalition that helped protect it against Iran's attack. Furthermore, it is said that Israel intends to co-ordinate its actions with the US.
The war cabinet is scheduled to convene again tomorrow, the report notes, and internal Front command regulations have not been changed, indicating that an Israeli attack is unlikely to occur today.
In parallel, the American daily Wall Street Journal reported that Israel could actually hit Iran overnight, but without specifying how much of this attack could be.
The US-led Western Allies, unanimously, have asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold on to the victory over the recent defence he made in Iran's attack, where 99% of the missiles were intercepted.
But it seems these calls will not be heard, since Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has also told his American counterpart, Lloyd Austin, that an answer to Iran is inevitable and the only way for Israel. /Albanian Post
