Serbian politician Rada Trajkovic has commented on the Serbian List's decision to challenge and not participate in the April 21st vote on the departure of Albanian mayors from four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Trajkovic wrote that it is a fact that Belgrade decides whether Serbs participate in political life in Kosovo or not.
The fact is: if Belgrade tells Serbs in the north to participate in political life in Kosovo, they will participate. Their living now more than ever depends on the Serbian state, and this is a powerful motivator. It's naive to believe differently”, she wrote in “X”.
Trajkovic agrees that the Serbian List decision testifies that Serbs are thereby giving up further participation in political life and local institutions.
