Tahiri: With Kosovo membership in KiE, everyone wins

Tahiri has said that Kosovo's membership in the KiE paves the way for even minorities to promote their rights.

“During discussions I stressed that Kosovo meets standards and conditions. This has already been said by the dominant coursers and the three rapporteurs. Kosovo membership also gives way to minorities for promoting and protecting their rights. It's W IN-WIN, the victory of all”, Tahiri said.

With Kosovo membership everyone wins

At both meetings on Committees, on that for Equality and Discrimination, and on the Committee for Legal Affairs and Human Rights, discussions and voting showed that the overwhelming majority are on our side. In the first vote was clear, 30 votes were Dl, 2 KUNDAY and 4 abstentions while in second, in Legal 23 votes D and 3 KUNDAY. This voting trend correctly shows that 2/3 of the votes are real for today's vote. We're about to have another battle not to vote 16 tenders, mostly initiated by the Serbian delegation.
