“During yesterday, even PKP deputy director Dejan Jankovic has been detained. Ten police members were detained five were released last night and four were released today, and the deputy director is still under arrest. He was sent yesterday to Rashka for questioning. According to recent information he has been sent into custody for 48 hours on charges of breaking constitutional order”, Svecla has said.
He further added that this charge was cited by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq during his visit to the military unit “Cobra”.
“With the arrest of Deputy Director Jankovic, Vuciq wants to send a message of fear to Kosovo Serbs who are integrated or will be integrated into Kosovo Police”, Svecla said.
The minister called for the immediate release of Deputy Director Jankoviq and other citizens being held by Serbia.
There are also citizens being held, and I request their immediate release and return to Kosovo. Serbia's move requires punishment from the international community”, he said.
