(2 years ago)Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Minister Donika Grovalla has held a regular meeting with US Ambassador Jeff Havenier, with whom they have discussed the latest situation, announcing him closely about the arbitrary ban of Kosovo citizens and police officials at the border points in Serbia. MPJD reports that the focus “was also the mass vote of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for Kosovo's membership in this organisation, among the most important international ones, taken on 16 April, as well as the further path towards full membership”.
Minister Gervalla praised the role of the United States of America and Ambassador Havenier in important processes, towards further strengthening international subjectivity and Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
“Minist Gervalla and Ambassador Havenier also discussed other current topics in the country, emphasising on the dedication of institutions in maintaining peace and stability in the country and the region and strengthening democracy and rule of law throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, it is said further in the statement.
