Through a social networking post, Muqolli shared the impressions of the ambassador's visit.
“Today in Poklek, at the Museum House, I visited German Ambassador Jörn Rohde, accompanied by Xhavit, Arben and Arber from Drenas. Their visit serves as a testimony to the continued importance of preserving our sad past”.
Muqolli stressed that this was Ambassador Rohde's first visit to Poklek, during which the ambassador expressed his deep feelings of sadness over events occurring on April 17, 1999.
He also expressed regret over not persecuting the perpetrators of this massacre from their respective organs, a feeling that shared the victims ' families.
This visit symbolizes not only the memory of the victims but also the importance of commemorating the past as a way to build a better future, stressing the need for justice and reconciliation.
