Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK) has recommended sending three prosecutors to the Mitrovica Constitutional Prosecution following the Serb community's resignation of prosecutors.
This recommendation came at today's KKP meeting, led by Chief Ardian Hajdaraj.
At the meeting, Serbian prosecutors' resignations were said to have brought difficulties in dealing with the subjects at the Mitrovica Foundation Prosecutor. The need to comply with additional prosecutors has been put forward.
“In this case has been approved the recommendation of the KKP chairman for finding a temporary solution through the transfer of three (3) prosecutors over a three-month period, which will be addressed at the country's chief prosecutor's next college, then will be informed of the KKP to make decisions regarding this matter”, the meeting was said.
During this meeting, no proposal for the decision on pay and compensation of non-profession members has reportedly been considered due to lack of quorum, but will be addressed at the KPK's next meeting, which was said to be held soon.
