Last night at the Podujevo Family Medicine Center, a nurse was attacked.
The QKMF management in Podujevo has condemned the attack while announcing the case that occurred last night.
“As manager staff on behalf of the KKMF we express indignation and strongly condemn insults and assault on health workers. Last night around midnight, while the emergency team was on duty as always highly responsible service to citizens, the irresponsible person prevents the performance of work by beginning with insults and rowing at the nurse until he also went through physical violence against the other nurse of the team,”, it is said in response.
Such attacks on health workers in their workplaces are said to be disturbing and unacceptable, while tolerating them creates dangerous precedents for the future by promoting job insecurity among the health community.
“Rasti is immediately presented to the police and we expect the competent bodies of police and prosecutors to seriously address the subject and to take adequate legal measures. Based on staff records, we have been forced that because of concerns and security, we have released the nurse and the nurse home where we want the same ones to recover and quickly return to work, profession and sacred mission in service of the health of the citizens”, it is said in response.
