Five people ended up in the hospital after a man attacked them with axes, near a London subway station

A critical incident has been declared near a subway station in northeastern London after reports that a man with <x0-seconds” attacked passersby and police officers.
According to foreign media, the man slammed a vehicle into a house in Thurlow Gardens, before reporting that he attacked a number of people, police said.
It becomes known that 36-year-old allegedly attacked members of the public and two police officers before they were finally arrested.
Metropolitan police reported the event just before 7am this morning.

Fire and rescue teams as well as a number of ambulances have been sent to the scene.
The London Ambulance Service said they treated five people at the scene and sent all five to the hospital.
Currently, the situation of the wounded is not known, and officers are no longer looking for suspects.
The Hainaul subway station in Ilford is closed by police after the incident.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan reacted by saying he was “obsolutely affected” from the news on the incident.
