The PDK seeks answers from Kurti, Konjufca and Haxhiu for the loss and finding Astrit Dehar samples: The prosecution puts the responsible to justice

PDK Parliamentary Group Chairman Abelard Tahiri, today, through a news conference, has presented some public questions to Prime Minister Kurti, Chief Parliamentary Minister Konjufca and Minister Haxhiu about the loss and finding the samples of Astri Deharit.

Tahiri has also invited the Special Prosecutor to take immediate action to take responsibility for any state official who is involved in the disappearance of Astrit Dehar's samples in their partial and final return.

On March 29, 2024, public opinion was informed of the findings of Astrit Dehar's samples, the death and disaster of which, on the path of its bleaching, over the past three years, under Albin Kurt's power, became unfair and mysteriously clouded. The disappearance of samples, partial or complete finding in each case is the responsibility of state institutions and cannot be easily overcome as if nothing has happened, Tahiri said.

Furthermore, he added that we are all witnesses that in December 2022, news of the disappearance of Astrit Dehar samples was published, and no one gave political responsibility to eliminate the samples of the case in state offices.

However, the magnitude of the tragedy expanded and deepened, and the questions left unanswered were added when, on the one hand, in March 2023 some of the Astrit Dehar samples were found, so the samples of glucose and urine were found but the testes of blood samples were missing. Meanwhile, on November 21st, 2023, when the IML offices were engulfed by second fire, 4 months later blood samples” were found, the president of the PDK Parliamentary Group said next.

According to Tahiri, not by chance as the Parliamentary Group The PDK, just after the second fire in the IML, the November 2023 fire, urgently launched the establishment of the parliamentary investigative commission of these events, considering such an investigation necessary just to whitewash the major allegations and questions that this power does not want to give them answers.

Not by chance, for four months, this power is rejecting the establishment of this commission. Today, we're going to raise some questions that Prime Minister Kurti, Chief Prime Minister Konjufca and Justice Minister are necessary to give you answers because it's not just our own questions as opposition parties, but are questions that each ask citizens”, Abelard Tahiri said.

The questions Tahiri has raised for Kosovo institutions leaders are these:
By being the bearer of power in the highest state functions, they should tell us who took them and eliminated the samples of Astrit Dehar and know who sent them back? Where were these samples and for what purpose were they stolen from the IML? The disappearance of these samples for a year and a half was an alibi of power to prevent criminal investigation and the whiteening of Astrit Dehar's tragic death? If the Speaker of the Parliament and the prime minister have been aware of the disappearance of these samples in the spring of 2022, how did the justice minister get to announce Kosovo's citizens by six months late at a news conference in December of that year? Was it a coincidence to find part of Astrit Dehar's samples in March 2023 and the first fire in March of the IML offices as well? Was the second fire in the IML offices through which the camera system was destroyed and for four days in a row had no surveillance of the evidence room, the room where the institution's samples dealt with? Was this four-day interval used when there were no cameras on the IML, so that samples reported as found this week return those days to the testimony room? Is the 4 months delay in finding the rest of Astrit Dehari samples deliberate?

Therefore, according to him, these and many other questions are sought and deserved by Chief Prime Minister Kurti, Chief Parliamentary Konjufca and Minister Haxhiu.
