The PDK in Gjilan on charges against Alban Hyseni: A lunch bill paid around 25 thousand euros

According to the PDK, this spending has been made without the planned budget and without procurement procedure.

Unprecedented scandal in Kosovo so far, the mayor of Gjilan only pays 25 thousand euros for an official lunch and acomoment bill

The VV government in Gjilan is mired in chaos and financial misuse. Only for a hotel bill, the mayor of Gjilan has allowed and paid the budget spending of 24,725.40 euros for accommodation and official lunch.

This illegal action has been done without a planned budget, no procurement procedure and no Communist Assembly decision to finance such a bill.

The financing of the Gjilan Theatre made the government of the Republic of Kosovo under the planned budget. The municipality has no obligation to pay this bill, but even if it was necessary, then the mayor of Gjilan had to address the Communist Parliament to allow additional budget for subsidies for goods and services for the Gjilan Theatre.

During 2023, the municipality of Gjilan has paid all 53 thousand euros for 167 restaurant bills. He also paid only for 32 thousand euros in hotel accommodation. Including travel expenses abroad, the mayor of Gjilan has spent over 110 thousand euros.

The refrain has reached the peak of VV's governance, is spent without control, without procedures, without decisions and without understanding. The PDK will take legal steps in this case and other cases involving serious legal violations of financial abuse.
