Osmani: Vuciq is not keeping his word he gave to allies, is putting pressure on Kosovo Serbs

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has declared that Kosovo has taken all necessary actions for citizens in the country's north to have the opportunity to sack current mayors of northern municipalities so that the way for elections can be opened.

But, according to her, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, through the Serbian List is putting pressure on Serbian citizens.

Kosovo, in co-operation with the allies, has taken all necessary actions for citizens to be offered this right, not to be violated by this right and free of shit without pressure. This time again, it is Alexander Vuciq, who does not keep his word that he gave money to allies even at the Schools and Macron meetings, where he had guaranteed that he would not pressure Serbs not to participate in the process. I believe the Allies are watching carefully how Serbia is denying Serbs a right that they could comply with the laws and regulations co-ordinated with administrative instruction. She has also asked the international community to react and punish Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq for the pressure he is putting on Serbs.

According to her, Vuciq himself had vowed that he would not influence this issue.

We are committed to continuing to protect the rights of all citizens indiscriminately, we are interested in Serbs living in Kosovo using the doors that the constitution gives them, but unfortunately some of them are allowing to be held hostage by Vuciq. I want to call on our allies to be loud to reject illegal pressure on Serbs in Kosovo and punish Vuciqi for the same time that she does not keep her word before them that she will not intervene in the rule of law, she is a different state and no right to intervene in the election processes in Kosovo”, she said.
