Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has remembered the massacre of Pollac and Down Below Abria.
At the presidency's statement, “Polac and Kosovo today remember April 1999, when Serbia's genocide regime in a week-long offensive killed 78 martyrs of this village and those around it. Today we remember and we obey with respect even the eight KLA martyrs who fell on the altar of freedom”.
Serbia's “Machine of the genocide regime nearly two months before its surrender intensified efforts to exterminate the Albanian people and ethnic cleansing throughout Kosovo. On April 7th, the killing machine did the same in Down Below Abere, where 10 civilians from the Temple were killed.
“By commemorating the martyrs and martyrs of the KLA, we honor our past, keep the truth alive, and that we forbid commitment to bringing authors to justice. May the constant memory of all the fallen freedom”, said the presidency's announcement.
