Osman meets with Hargreaves, talk about Kosovo membership in KiE

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has met with the ambassador of Great Britain to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.

It becomes known that Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe was discussed at the meeting, on the eve of voting by the organisation's Parliamentary Assembly.

“President Osmani stressed the importance of this Kosovo membership for the protection and guaranteeing of the rights of all Kosovo citizens indiscriminately. President Osmani expressed gratitude for the support of the United Kingdom in this regard, as she reiterated the importance of continuing this support at this important moment for our state and our citizens, said the presidency's announcement.

The European Council Parliamentary Assembly session in Strasbourg, France, will be held from 15 April to 19 April, where, according to the Council of Europe, the vote at the Parliamentary Assembly session for Kosovo will be held on 16 April.

On March 27th, the reporting point for Kosovo's membership at the Council of Europe at the meeting, held in Paris, France, of the Committee for Foreign Policy and Democracy.
