President Vjosa Osmani has hosted a regular meeting of US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier.
The report reportedly discussed the recent developments in the country, where Osmani aimed at serious human rights violations and the agreement on freedom of movement on the part of Serbia, through the ban of Kosovo citizens in border areas and their unacceptable “treatment, as well as the illegal arrests of Kosovo Police members”.
The “meeting was also discussed in connection with the Kosovo membership process in the Council of Europe, as well as preparations being made to manage the voting process, which will be held this weekend in the country's north of”.
The theme of the discussion was also the preparations that are being made, as well as the co-ordination with allies on the eve of the UN Security Council's upcoming meeting, where Kosovo will be represented by President Osmani”, the presidency issued to the media says.
