The Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Department for Criminal Crimes of R.P.P. and the E.R, has approved the Constitutional Prosecutor's request in Pristina, assigning the detention measure to 30 days long term (each separately), to defendants R.P. and E.R., under suspicion of “for falsification of money”.
In the report, the judge of the preliminary procedure reportedly assigned the measure of detention to the suspects in line with Article 184, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.1 and 1.2, provisions 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 of the KPPRC, reports the “Justice Trust”.
The report reportedly estimated that conditions for the detention assignment have been met, so if the defendants are released, the same may be impossible for the criminal procedure, there is risk of their escape, and that would make it difficult for them to complete this procedure successfully.
Similarly, the court has estimated that if the defendants are at large, they can eliminate, hide, change, or forge evidence of criminal acts or hinder the course of criminal procedure, affecting witnesses of the case.
The report says that the suspects had been found during car control, which money was green.
“There is a belief based on the fact that by 16,04.2024, around 23:15 minutes, on the “Pair” road, the village of Shkabyj, in Pristina, defendants R.P and E.R in co-operation have owned the coloured coins which are suspected to be forged, in the way that police during the checkpoint have banned the type of Mercedes, so that after the vehicle's control, a total amount of green money has been found which are forged, after their verification has resulted in the following amount of money: 1900 euros, total of 1,500 euro coins, five hundred and four hundred and four hundred hundred and fifty-four euro coins are suspected.
It says that the police, through confirmation of the temporary selection of things, have seized the same.
With that, there is suspicion that defendants in co-ordination committed criminal work “Falsification of money”
Against this act, disgruntled parties have the right to complaint at the Court of Appeals, through the Constitutional Court in Pristina. /Betimy for Justice
