Macedonia emphasises that Wiehen has announced the meeting regarding current developments in Kosovo's Ministry of Defence and Security Force, as well as plans for the future.
“During the meeting we also talked about the security situation in Kosovo, and I stressed the fact that the deployment of Serbian military troops around the border with Kosovo poses the constant threat to Balkan stability, which should seriously address Serbia's such moves, even on the part of NATO”, Macedonia wrote.
“I underlined that we are committed to co-ordinating and co-operating August as minister with KFOR and NATO Consulting and Interconnecting Team (NALT), as I reiterated that our goal is NATO membership so that the KSF can offer active contributions to the missions for maintaining stability and peace, and that we are engaged every day”.
