On April 17th, a closed meeting at the UN will be considered in a draft resolution announcing July 11th International Genocide Memory in Srebrenica.
Ejup Macedonia, Kosovo Defence Minister, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the resolution should be voted not only for the genocide Serbia has committed in Bosnia but also in other Balkan countries, including Kosovo.
“Vucic and Serbian politics for years are on Russia's side and also promote that they are interested in EU integration, Serbia itself continues to be autocratic and continues ties with the Russian federation, at the same time claiming it is targeting the EU.
In addition to the developments of the Russia-Ukrainian war, a result is expected to take a clear turn. Nothing (attack) is exempted until in the constitution of the republic of Serbia, Kosovo remains part of it, until it recognises it as an independent state, the possibility of an attack when Vucic sees it as favorable.
The resolution at the UN should be voted not only for the fact of the genocide that was held in Bosnia, but that Serbs have developed genocide in Kosovo as well, where thousands of civilians only killed or had another ethnic affiliation from that of Serbs”, Macedonia said.
