Lucas Mandl will run for Eurodeputs in the European Parliament.
Kosovo's friend was the main voice in this European institution.
He will participate in the June elections.
Austria had repeatedly called for visa liberalisation of Kosovars, and is also already lobbiing for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
He will try to secure seat in the European Parliament, where he has been mandated since 2017.
To support the Austrian on his journey, the gathering at Baden bei Wien will be held next week by Austria's Albanians.
