The European Union's Emisari for Kosovo Dialogue Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, He met with Albanian deputy in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Camber, in Brussels.
Through a post on the X platform, Lajcak has indicated what has been discussed at the meeting, stressing that minority rights are key to the European integration process.
“As part of my regular interactions with the Western Balkans, I had a useful meeting with Shaip Camberi in Brussels. We discussed important topics, including human and minority rights, which are key issues in the European integration process”, wrote Lajcak on X.
For this meeting, Kamber wrote during the day. He has announced Lajcak for “the state's readiness and unwillingness” to integrate Albanians into state institutions and for the “preparedness that the state system has shown for the sake of moving Albanians”.
“The non-integration of Albanians into institutions made the institutions unconcrete and discriminated against, while the application of biased equipment in the countries where Albanians live allows the change of ethnic structure in those settlements. Medveja is the best example. We notified Mr. Lajcak for the importance and impact that for graduates from the Valley there would have been recognition of Kosovo diplomas and that their recognition would mean the possibility for a new perspective on the Valley”, Kamberi wrote.
He has indicated that the lack of political will to develop the Presevo Valley economically, according to him, is best reflected with the total boycott of the state in bringing investors to Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja. He has said that for this reason the municipalities inhabited by Albanians are among the most underdeveloped municipalities in the country.
