Lajcak for the new round of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue: Come with an open mind towards resolution based on ideas presented earlier

The EU's special envoy for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, announced a new round of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, adding that he expects both sides to come to the meeting this week with an open “mind”. “At the end of this week I will host Kosovo's chief negotiators [...]
“At the end of this week, I will expect Kosovo and Serbia's chief negotiators for another round of talks to find a temporary solution for people affected by the Kosovo Central Bank's decision. I expect both sides to come to the meeting with an open mind, flexible access, and based on ideas presented during previous meetings”, Lajcak said on Facebook.
As he stressed, after visiting four different countries during the past week, he is heading to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the main idea of last week's events was how to return to reality the moment of EU enlargement. He added that he started in Sofia, Bulgaria, last week, where he addressed the EU Summit “at the Balkan Forum”.
“Bulgaria left for Poland to discuss regional development in the Western Balkans with European College students in Natolin. While in Warsaw, I also met with Polish Undersecretary of State Marek Pravda for a detailed discussion about the region and beyond. A brief stop in Brussels, I continued in Delphy in Greece for the annual economic forum to talk about Dialogue, the Western Balkans and ways to improve EU integration, Delfi was also a good opportunity to meet friends, colleagues and political scientists”, Lajcak stressed.
He stressed that last week, he has had the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in Montenegro with Montenegrin Government Deputy Chairman Beciq, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivanovic and European Affairs Minister Gorchevic. “I urged the three to stay on the course of EU reforms and avoid internal friction at the price of progress on the country's path towards the EU./eo.
