The executive head said the government led by him is in service of the Election Commission for this process and that the government is guarantor that the result of this referendum will be implemented in full and rapidly.
Kurti said the current mayors can leave the office, but not with fascist gangs attacking the Kosovo Police and KFOR.
Calling for exits to the elections, he said April 21st is the opportunity to cut off the current mayors' mandate, and that this could happen only with legal process and not with violent gangs because, according to him, this does not allow Kosovo police.
“For the election issue to be held in the four northern municipalities on 21 April, the Central Election Commission led. The government of the Republic of Kosovo is at their service. On our side is generally the will to hold this vote and in municipalities where 50 percent plus one of citizens vote to cut off the current mandate of the municipalities we are guarantee that this will be implemented in full and fast. These heads can leave the office, but not with fascist gangs that violate KFOR, you Kosovo journalists and police. With elections entered into the office, there are no bombs in the office, no grenades, no other weapons that have been attacked by security personnel in the four northern municipalities. April 21st is the chance and I invite all citizens indiscriminately to come out and vote on April 21st to cut off these four mayors' mandates who think they haven't run well. All it takes is legal and not violent gangs surrounding municipal buildings. With violent gangs you can't get into the office, Kosovo Police do not allow Kosovo”, Kurti said.
These statements were made during the visit to the launch of project works “The expansion of the national N9-Segiment Kjetva-Dolc”.
