Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has commemorated civilians killed in the village of Reznik in Vushtria on April 6th 1999.
He has stressed how this village had become home to civilians from Drenica, who were forced to flee homes because of promotions from the Serbian Army.
“During the war in 1998-1999 Albanians were not safe either in Reznik and nowhere else in Kosovo. On April 6, 1999, four units of Serbia's armed forces entered the four houses of the Wolfani brothers. At the same time, they killed nine members of this family, and later they did so against families Mustafa, Makiqi and Bunjaku”, Kurti wrote.
We remember today civilians killed in Reznik. We never forget the pain and resistance of our people. We remember our loved ones who were lost on the difficult road to victory and deliverance. We honor them daily by engaging in strengthening our Republic”.
“Glory to all lows for Kosovo freedom!”, says Kurti, among other things.
