The report made to the media says that during the usual inspections that the Central Market Supervisor Inspectorate, every day, in some surveyed economic subjects, it has been found incorrigible with regard to the stated weight gap of products.

Market inspectors in co-operation with Metrology officials, after taking samples, have found out that the 550 gram and 600 grams palm products don't have the stated weight of both prepacking and the same do not meet the average criterion and content criteria on label”, the statement says.
MINT adds further that, as a result, economic subjects have been forced to take the necessary actions to eliminate these irregularities, decide declaration with the exact weight of products, and in each case, punitive measures have been taken in accordance with the legislation in force.
“The Ministry of Industry, Intervention and Trade through the Central Market Supervisor Inspectorate remains committed to the protection of contractors and fair competition in the Kosovo Republic market”, the communiqué said.
