Pertusis, also known as the Good Cola, is a bacterial infectious disease that involves abandoning breathing. The best way to overcome this disease is to vaccinate, so IKKPK urges parents to stick to the regular vaccination calendar and vaccinate children according to times set for the calendar.
The Director of Infectious Clinic at QKUK, Arben Vajaj, has said of KosovaPress, that this disease does not pose any major risk to patients' lives because of the vaccine, it has not yet been registered at KKUK any serious case.
Vajaj has added that there is a way of spreading this disease because there are parents who have hesitated to vaccinate their child.
The symptoms of this syndrome appear 7 to 10 days after infection, but they may appear until 21 days later.
Director of Infectia: It is possible to spread the infectious disease, Persus.
