The woman has denounced the family's jungle for domestic violence, and so far, Gjakova is on the run after failing to surrender to the police.
The Judo Federation has finally reacted to this situation, protecting Gjakova and announcing that once the latter returns to Kosovo, it will surrender to the police.

Kosovo's “Judo Party strongly condemns any form of violence and we are deeply concerned about recent events in our country.
We have a priority to protect and promote gender equality, which is proven by the peak achievements and excellent support of our athletes.
We believe in Achilles' innocence and wish the organs of the order of justice as soon as they clear the case. So we invite the media to show caution in handling this case and to prevent the abuse and public judgment of one of the figures that continues to promote the positive image of our country.
Achilles is currently located outside Kosovo's territory, and will be delivered immediately to law and order bodies at the moment he arrives in Kosovo”.
