Serbian politician Aleksandar Jablanovic has called on northern Kosovo citizens to boycott the population census.
Through a post on the official Facebook page, the Kosovo Serb Party called for Serbian citizens to ignore all actions related to the census.
According to them, this is Albin Kurti's wish to see how many Serbs have managed to expel from Kosovo.
“Call on our Serbs to boycott population registration, give no input to registration teams. Avoid and ignore all actions related to population registration. This is not a census, this is Albin Kurti's wish to see how many Serbs have managed to expel since 202118x1>, it was written in the post.
Among other things, through posting they have reacted to electricity bills, naming them unrealistic.
The non-really high materials citizens receive are unacceptable, and we are looking for “Electric Veru” to review urgently and approach real consumption. We demand that “Electrice North” fulfil the promise citizens made to pay their paushall bills of 21.60 at the end of April 2024”.
Otherwise, on 5 April in Kosovo, the census will begin.
The census is designed to be completed after more than a month, specifically on May 17th.
