The first of the AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted following calls from the Serbian List for Kosovo Serbs to boycott the population census, writes Periscope.
Through a post in his Facebook account, Haradinaj said these processes should not be linked to Belgrade's political agendas.
Full Posting:
Calls from the Serbian List for Kosovo Serbs to boycott the census, as well as the withdrawal of Serb members from municipal election commissions in the north, are contrary to democratic norms and, at the expense of Serbian citizens themselves. They must be part of the processes that enhance their welfare, security and progress.
These processes should not be linked to Belgrade's political agendas. Population registration is the interest of all citizens, including Serbian citizens, and in no circumstances can be influenced by political agendas. Belgrade politics must once and for all give up the instrumentisation of Kosovo Serbs for political agendas.
