In a Facebook post, the embassy has referred to reports and research of civil society organisations on domestic violence.
“Based on various reports and research of civil society organisations, domestic violence continues to be one of the most unreported crimes in Kosovo. Domestic violence should not be seen as a private issue or as a family issue”, says the post.

Otherwise, Kosovo has approved the protocol for responding to cases of sexual violence to ensure consistent support for survivors of sexual violence, as well as providing standard actions to treat sexual violence as a serious form of violence and to strengthen and clarify roles and responsibilities between institutions and bidders' services.
