The dinar case tomorrow at the Brussels meeting, Kurti: My deputy can't negotiate the BQK's regulation

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said his deputy, chief negotiator Besnik Bislim, at tomorrow's meeting in Brussels cannot negotiate for the Central Bank regulation that excludes the dinar from use.

Kurti, in a statement to the media in front of the Northern Mitrovica municipality, has said the decision has already been made and that it must see no consequences.

I have said my opinion and we are kept under and behind the Central Bank. When there was a problem with the plates then Minister Svecla and I were on the front line, we're gone. I'm not the prime minister who decides for BQC. Powers are divided in Kosovo, we are not autocratic states like Serbia, where one man decides for all. So there's a decision, a BQK regulation and we're here as governments to help. That's why my deputy, Besnik Bislim, cannot negotiate that regulation. Kurti has reiterated that Belgrade's problem is not the abuse of the dinar, but the payments that have been made in cash.

I insist that official Belgrade has a key to being a dinar of euros. There is no Serb in Kosovo who has said I don't want euros because 33 thousand dollars have the Serbs in Kosovo and receive various aid from our government.
