Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said his deputy, chief negotiator Besnik Bislim, at tomorrow's meeting in Brussels cannot negotiate for the Central Bank regulation that excludes the dinar from use.

Kurti, in a statement to the media in front of the Northern Mitrovica municipality, has said the decision has already been made and that it must see no consequences.

I have said my opinion and we are kept under and behind the Central Bank. When there was a problem with the plates then Minister Svecla and I were on the front line, we're gone. I'm not the prime minister who decides for BQC. Powers are divided in Kosovo, we are not autocratic states like Serbia, where one man decides for all. So there's a decision, a BQK regulation and we're here as governments to help. That's why my deputy, Besnik Bislim, cannot negotiate that regulation. Unless there's any consequence that no one will ever have, then let's see what we can do to make a transition as good as possible. We're not hosting this new BQA decision, in this sense the main event has already taken place, we're now in post-festum phase and we need to see that there's no consequence of”.

Kurti has reiterated that Belgrade's problem is not the abuse of the dinar, but the payments that have been made in cash.
