Citizens hand over 1,000 euros allegedly forged at a bank in Sweden

Kosovo police report that a citizen has surrendered to the police station in Mitrovica seven 200-euro bills, allegedly forged.

According to the police report, the complainer has said that this money has drawn them from a microfinancial institution in Sweden.

Bills have been seized for further examinations and the case is being investigated, police reported in the 24-hour report Wednesday.

“Rr. Marije Shllaku, Mitrovica 06.04,2024, 08:30. Kosovo's male complainer has handed over to the 7-karmataone police station of $200, which, according to the verification he carried out at a bank, had proved to be suspected of being forged. The complainer had received these bills from a micro-financial institution in Sweden. Suspected bills have been seized for further examinations. The case, investigating”, says the report.
