CECA member Arian Elshani, at today's meeting, has presented the procedure for using cameras at polling stations in the April 21st vote.
Elshani has said the cameras will be placed on the side of anti-election booths.
So we need to start with testing procedure and go according to election regulations for deployments and counting at”, he said.
He made it known that the cameras won't have audio recordings.
Elshani recommended that this procedure be adopted, until he added there may be changes.
The other member of the CEC, Sami Kurteshi, asked Elshan when the footage of cameras would be destroyed.
Elshani said it is pre-arranged for the images to be destroyed at the moment when the ballots are destroyed.
With 10 votes for, 1 abstention has been adopted procedures for the use of cameras.
