Borrell warns widespread war in the Middle East

The G7 foreign ministers' meeting has started on Thursday with discussions focused on wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, reports the news agency “Associated Press”. European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has urged Western leaders to offer more vital support to Ukraine in the [...] war.

European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has urged Western leaders to offer more vital support to Ukraine in its two-year war with Russia.

Western “Western countries, Japan, Canada, the US, Europe, have to make faster decisions in order to support Ukraine more because we cannot afford Putin's victory in Ukraine. Ukrainians are fighting, but they need guns. They need weapons and we need to secure them much faster”, Borell said.

The United States and several European countries are considering ways of exploiting billions of Russian assets held in the West to help Ukraine, amid the reluctance of several European Union member states on the legality of such a movement.
Such proposals have been made after US efforts to approve new funds for military assistance to Ukraine have stalled in Congress.

The EU's top diplomat has also warned of broader regional war in the Middle East and has said the focus should be on the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

I don't want to exaggerate, but we're on the verge of a war, a regional war in the Middle East”, he added.

World leaders have urged Israel not to retaliate after Iran launched its attack on Israel last weekend, pushing the Middle East closer to a wide regional war.

The attack took place less than two weeks after an alleged Israeli attack on the Iranian Consulate in Syria, where two Iranian generals and officers were killed.

We must ask Israel for a cautious response to the Iranian attack. We can't escalate the” situation, Borrell said.

Why do police members pass through Serbia why was MPB recommendation not respected?
