US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Israel has not yet told the US the date of the operation, which has been declared to be held in Rafah.
He has indicated that the American president has been very clear about concerns about civilians in Rafah, CNN writes.
The president has been very clear about our concerns, deep concerns over Israel's ability to get civilians out of danger”, Blinken said.
Blinken further said the US is talking to Israel about any alternative to the solutions to the problem in Rafah, which, according to him, should be done in a way that does not endanger the innocent.
